Postdoctoral Position on field theory/particle physics/cosmology/lattice

Applications are invited for a 3-year postdoctoral research position at the Kavli IPMU, the University of Tokyo.

The Position is dedicated to the study of field theory/particle physics/cosmology/lattice gauge theory under the KAKENHI project ((A) 19H00689, PI: Ryuichiro Kitano) on “Fusion of analytical and numerical methods for the quantum world of elementary particles and the Universe.” We seek individuals who conduct theoretical researches in collaboration with Masahito Yamazaki (Kavli IPMU), Ryuichiro Kitano (KEK), Nori Yamada (KEK) and other researchers at Kavli IPMU.

The appointment is for maximally three years, and will start from April 1, 2020 or later, through the end of March 2023. The salary will be at the level of JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (Gakushin- PD). Some travel fund will also be provided.

The applicant should have a Ph.D. in physics or related areas by starting date of the position.
