Kavli IPMU focus week for supernovae near and far Dec 12-14, 2012

Kavli IPMU focus week for supernovae near and far

The meeting aims at discussing observational properties of supernovae in the local Universe and at high redshift, and connecting these information to theoretical understandings of these explosive events and their progenitor systems. The schedule includes typically 20-min talks (20 min for a talk + 5 min for discussion).

Date:

Dec 12 (Wed) - 14 (Fri), 2012

Place:

Kavli-IPMU, Lecture Hall

Organizers:

Ken'ichi Nomoto (Kavli-IPMU)
Gaston Folatelli (Kavli-IPMU)
Keiichi Maeda (Kavli-IPMU)

Banquet:

Dec 12 (Wed), 18:00 -, at Ikoi in the campus. The fee will be ~2,000 JPY each.
