Tsutomu Yanagida
Scientific activities on "beyond the Standard Model physics" at the IPMU will cover model building, phenomenology, field theory in general, string phenomenology and particle cosmology. Closely related activities at the IPMU include collider physics (link), theoretical cosmology and astrophysics (link) and string theory (link), and we hope to create and maintain interactions with these activities. Local faculty members regularly participating in the "beyond the Standard Model" activities at the IPMU will include Koichi Hamaguchi, Junji Hisano, Taizan Watari, and Tsutomu Yanagida (PI), possibly joined by another few people to be newly hired. Graduate students at Department of Physics, University of Tokyo will also stay regularly at the IPMU.
