New developments in particle physics can potentially radically revise our understanding of the nature of the fundamental nature of matter. Physicist Lisa Randall describe about current research, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), and the Higgs boson discovery. The talk also discussed the role of scale in understanding our universe and the physical laws that guide its operation.
