2. Entrance to the Kavli IPMU Building
(1) 8:30am – 6:00pm on weekdays
All entrances are unlocked and the entrance card is not required to enter.
(2) Other time of the day and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
All entrances are automatically locked.
The entrances on the south side (1F, 2F) can be unlocked with the entrance card.
3. Entrance to the Kavli IPMU Library
The doors are open 9:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 5:00pm, weekdays.
Other time of the day and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, the entrance card is required to unlock the door.
4. Notes
To exit from the Kavli IPMU building, the entrance card is not necessary at any time.
Do not lend or lose your entrance card. If you lose your entrance card, report to Kavli IPMU International Relations Section (ext. 65957) IMMEDIATELY.
On your last day, return both your room key and entrance card to the Staff Room on the 2nd floor. When the Staff Room is closed, put both of them in the key-drop box (green) which is installed on the wall along the entrance (door) to the support desk on the 2nd floor at any time.
