Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli IPMU)
On Monday, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Minister, Koichi Hagiuda, visited the Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli IPMU) on Kashiwa campus.
Hagiuda’s visit began with a talk with Kavli IPMU Director Hirosi Ooguri, where Ooguri explained the history and research being carried out at the institute. Following a tour of the building, the minister was shown to the Piazza Fujiwara, where he chatted with Kavli IPMU researchers working in a variety of fields, including Principal Investigator Masahiro Takada, Professor Hiromi Yokoyama, and Project Researchers Miho Katsuragawa, and Robin Kooistra.
