Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli IPMU)
The University of Tokyo’s “Global Unit Courses” (GUC) will offer a week-long intensive lecture series (5-10 classes) based on cutting-edge content by members of the University’s faculty. To be held between mid-June and August 2021, the lectures are aimed mainly at overseas undergraduate and graduate students. All of this year’s lectures will be offered online and on-demand. Student applications will be accepted from February 1 to March 8, 2021 (Deadline 16:00 Japan Standard Time).
Professor Yukari Ito at Kavli IPMU will present a lecture entitled “Group Theory and its Applications: introduction to beautiful modern mathematics.”
