Researchers have used beams of muons to analyze the elemental composition of Asteroid Ryugu samples

Kavli IPMU's Tadayuki Takahashi and Shunsaku Nagasawa are part of a team of researchers who have analyzed the elemental composition of asteroid Ryugu using an artificially generated muon beam from the particle accelerator in J-PARC.
