PSJ Young Scientist Award to Fuminobu Takahashi

The fifth Young Scientist Award of the Physical Society of Japan was awarded to Fuminobu Takahashi, an assistant professor at IPMU.

The PSJ Young Scientist Award was established for encouraging young researchers who is expected to play a leading role in physics in the future and for activating the PSJ.

His three articles, "Gravitino overproduction in inflaton decay", "The gravitino overproduction problem in inflationary universe", "Inflaton Decay in Supergravity" were cited as the reason for the award in the field of cosmic ray and cosmology.


An award ceremony is expected to take place at the PSJ Spring meeting of March 25, 2011.
