Kavli IPMU is proud to announce a public lecture given by Professor Lisa Randall, Harvard Universisty, will take place on January 25, 2014. Dr.Randall's lecture is entitled "Knocking on Heaven's Door."

  New developments in particle physics can potentially radically revise our understanding of the nature of the fundamental nature of matter. Physicist Lisa Randall describe about current research, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), and the Higgs boson discovery. The talk also discussed the role of scale in understanding our universe and the physical laws that guide its operation.
