Senior Vice Minister Masaharu Nakagawa of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology visited IPMU on January 8, 2010.
He chose IPMU as his first visit to the World Premier International Research centers.
Following a briefing by Director Murayama, he toured the new laboratory building. He then joined IPMU daily tea time.
Mr. Nakagawa seemed to have enjoyed its open atmosphere. He was involved in active discussion with the IPMU scientists.
