The Editorial Board of Classical and Quantum Gravity (CQG) selected the article“The renormalizability of Horava-Lifshitz-type gravities”by Domenico Orlando and Susanne Reffert (http://herald.iop.org/CQG/m176/jip/link/4076)as one of the journal’s Highlights of 2009 and 2010. Classical and Quantum Gravity is an established journal for physicists, mathematicians and cosmologists in the fields of gravitation and the theory of spacetime. The journal is now the acknowledged world leader in classical relativity and all areas of quantum gravity.

We are particularly pleased to hear the announcement because the subject for their recognition is exactly what IPMU emphasizes, namely a fusion of physics and mathematics is the key for answering the mystery of the universe. We are also pleased that this adds yet an another recognition for the extensive and important works by the IPMU researchers on the subject of Horava-Lifshitz theory in recent years.
