Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (IPMU)
Toshiyuki Kobayashi, professor of The University of Tokyo Graduate School of Mathematical Science and Senior Scientist at IPMU, was assigned as a Principal Investigator of IPMU on June 1, 2011
Professor Kobayashi works on all areas of basic concepts that constitute mathematics, namely algebra, geometry and analysis.
His theory and approach will be expected to create great impact with research on IPMU.
