Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli IPMU)
The 2013 Yoji Totsuka Memorial Prize has been awarded to Kunio Inoue, Professor at Tohoku University Graduate School of Science Department of Physics, Director of Research Center for Neutrino Science (RCNS) and Principal Investigator at Kavli IPMU, and Atsuto Suzuki, Director General of High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) for "Neutrino research with liquid scintillator, observation of geologically produced anti-neutrinos."
The award ceremony was held on March 20 at Koshiba Hall in the Univiersity of Tokyo.
The Yoji Totsuka Prize has been awarded annually since 2010 by the Heisei Foundation for Basic Science (President:Masatoshi Koshiba).
