2013 MEXT's Young Scientists' Prize to Tomoyuki Abe

On April 8, 2013, Ministry of Education, culture, sports, science and technology of Japan (MEXT) announced that the 2013 Young Scientists' Prize went to Tomoyuki Abe, a project assistant professor at Kavlli IPMU. 

The Young Scientists' Prize present young scientists, who are under 40 years old, achieved exploratory and unique research.  In 2013, 89 young scientists, including Abe, won the award.
Abe received the award to his research, "Fundamental work on theory of arithmetic D-module and research on the Langlands correspondence."

The award ceremony was held on April 16, 2013 in Tokyo, JAPAN.
